This role exists to make sure engagements run well — that risks are visible, decisions are tracked, teams are aligned, and execution stays on track.This role has two distinct dimensions:Primary: Delivery Operations Support to the VP of Product Development. You will work closely with our VP of Product to maintain visibility and execution rigor across multiple active client engagements. This is the core of the role today.Growth Track: Engagement Manager for key clients. As Germinate continues to scale, this role will take on direct ownership of key client relationships. You will work closely with the Client Operations manager, who currently leads engagements. Over time — as trust and context develop — you will step into that ownership. If you want to grow into client-facing leadership, this is a clear path.If you are someone who thrives behind the scenes — who creates order, closes loops, and makes delivery work — and who wants a front-row seat to how a growing studio operates, this role is worth your time.What You’ll DoDelivery Operations SupportWorking closely with the VP of Product Development, you will:• Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and Decision logs across active engagements• Surface risks and flag dependencies before they become problems• Ensure decisions, action items, and follow-ups are documented and tracked to resolution• Support scheduling, preparation, and follow-up for key internal and client-facing meetings• Maintain project systems (Smartsheets, Linear, JIRA or similar) as a source of truth• Assist with prioritization and execution tracking across multiple workstreams• Keep internal documentation, templates, and processes organized and current• Identify operational gaps and implement simple, durable improvementsClient Engagement ManagementAs you build context and trust, you will take on increasing ownership of one primary client engagement:• Serve as a point of contact for the client, and be actively involved in the early stages• Build a trusted relationship grounded in transparency and consistent delivery• Manage client expectations around scope, timelines, and outcomes• Lead client meetings, including agendas, status updates, and follow-ups• Support renewals, change orders, and scope discussions in partnership with leadership• Maintain clear, concise status reporting that reflects reality, not just activityOperational Discipline (Across Both)• Support light financial tracking across engagements — budgets, burn rates, invoicing coordination• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and partners as needed• Run project check-ins and maintain engagement cadence and rhythmWhat We’re Looking ForCore Capabilities• Ownership mindset — you take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks• Structured thinking — you bring order to ambiguity and create clarity where it doesn’t exist• Proactive risk management — you anticipate issues before they become problems• Strong communication skills — written and verbal, adaptable to different audiences• Client judgment — you communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build trust without overpromisingHow You Work• Calm under pressure — you stay grounded when priorities shift• Organized by instinct — you create systems, close loops, and maintain clarity• Low ego, high ownership — you step in where needed and focus on outcomes• Pragmatic — you favor simple, effective solutions over unnecessary complexity• AI-minded — you actively use AI tools to improve how you work and thinkQualifications• 5–10+ years of experience in project management, delivery operations, account management, or a similar role• Experience working in an agency, consultancy, or product-driven environment• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and keep execution on track• Experience with project management tools (Smartsheets, Jira, Asana, Notion, or similar)• Comfort with light financial tracking — budgets, burn rates, invoicing coordination• Experience working alongside product and engineering teams• Startup or fast-paced environment experience is a plusGrowth PathThis role is designed to grow with Germinate.
