DescriptionThe Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here.Job SummaryThe Associate Branch Manager (ABM) is responsible for supporting the Branch Manager in the successful operation of the branch. ABMs ensure the quality and efficiency of landscape management for BrightView's clients, while achieving the company's goals of consistently improving market share and meeting financial targets. This role will directly manage 3+ client service teams.Duties and Responsibilities:Develop long-term relationships and communicate regularly with key clientsInspect key client properties to monitor performance and overall job qualityEnsure BrightView's existing accounts are renewed each yearCoordinate and manage client service teamsAssist the Branch Manager in the performance of financial and accounting tasks, as requiredDevelop forecasts/budgetsWork with the Operational Accounting team to accurately track branch performanceEnsure billing is completed in a timely and accurate mannerEnsure all contracts are executed correctlyEnsure proper use and care of all branch assetsIdentify staffing needsMonitor branch safety record and implement methods to improve safe workplace practicesMonitor and guide supervisors as they train Crew Leaders and Crew MembersImplement and enforce policies and procedures as issued by BrightViewAssist the Branch Manager in the performance of sales tasks, as requiredEnsure new sales goals for the branch are properly budgetedWork with the Business Developer to ensure those goals are met or exceededIdentify prospects to meet sales goals and communicate with the Business DeveloperUnderstand and accurately estimate jobsEnsure proper paperwork is completed for all employee changes and hiresCommunicate with, counsel, train, discipline, review, and develop growth plan(s) for employeesEducation and Experience:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in horticulture, business-related field, or equivalent experience in a customer-focused service industryMinimum 2-4 years of management work experienceProficient in project and time management, resource planning, and effective decision making in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and estimating/costing software packages.Effective oral and written communication skills.Solid working knowledge of business accounting. P&L management and financial analysis to support branch profitabilityExperienced in horticulture, landscaping equipment, and managing a fleet of company vehicles.Physical Demands/Requirements:Constant operation of a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, a cell phone, and printers/copiersAbility to physically perform the basic life operational functions of walking, standing, and kneeling.Work Environment:Work in an indoor office and also outdoors during site walkthroughs and site supervision duties.BrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.This job description is subject to change at any time.BrightView offers a suite or health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
