Podiatrist - Ft. Carson

This position involves providing comprehensive medical and surgical care for patients of all ages with foot and ankle conditions.Examines, diagnoses, treats, and prevents diseases and injuries of the foot and ankle through surgical and conservative methods.Performs surgical procedures, manages pre- and postoperative care, and prescribes orthotics and medications.Coordinates with other medical staff, reviews case histories, interprets tests, and advises on supplies and equipment.Maintains licensure, certifications, and clinical competency, with independent decision-making and adherence to safety protocols.Works primarily indoors in a clinical setting, with physical demands including standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds.Position is full-time, independent contractor, offering $100/hour, with occasional travel and overtime as needed.Requires a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree, postgraduate surgical training, and current licensure.
