In-house Legal Counsel

In this role, you will serve as a key business partner; advising on commercial contracts, regulatory matters, and a broad range of legal issues that support APCO's operations and growth.What You'll DoDraft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, and other business contractsProvide day-to-day legal guidance to business leaders across multiple functionsSupport and oversee litigation matters, including coordination with outside counselAssist with regulatory inquiries, investigations, and compliance-related mattersAdvise on privacy, marketing, and communications-related legal considerations (e.g., TCPA, CAN-SPAM)Partner with internal stakeholders to identify risks and develop practical, business-oriented solutionsSupport legal aspects of business initiatives, including product development and operational changesAssist with due diligence and integration activities related to acquisitions as neededHelp manage external legal resources with a focus on efficiency and cost controlWhat Makes You SuccessfulYou'll be successful in this role if you're a pragmatic, business-oriented attorney who can balance legal risk with operational needs. You're comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, thinking on your feet, and providing clear, actionable guidance to stakeholders.You're also highly organized and adaptable, able to manage a variety of legal matters simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
