Soldering Assembler

Job Title: Soldering Assembler Location: Bothell, WA Pay Rate: $25-$27/hr Employment Type: Contract-To-Hire Shift: Day Benefits: Medical insurance, 401K, sick leave, and EAP ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking a Soldering Assembler for a leading global medical device manufacturer, which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in electronic and mechanical assembly and soldering of medical devices looking to further their career in medical device manufacturing. Assemble, re-assemble, and rework medical devices according to design procedures and technical drawings Perform through-hole and surface-mount electronic/mechanical soldering under microscope to established quality and workmanship standards Complete a variety of assembly and non-assembly tasks as assigned Maintain compliance with FDA, GMP, ISO, and workplace safety policies ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years of electronic or manufacturing assembly experience J-STD-001 IPC certification required, or ability to become certified (in-house training available) Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and drawings; knowledge of FDA, GMP, and ISO practices BONUS QUALIFICATIONS Prior experience with microscope-based soldering and ESD (electrostatic discharge) knowledge Demonstrated focus on quality workmanship and ability to work independently WHY AVERRO?
