Software Engineer
Overview
In this role you will work with experienced engineers to design, implement, test, and operate cloud-native, data-driven services across Q2’s Fraud Intelligence Platform. The position is production-focused and you will gradually assume more responsibility as you gain experience with real-world systems. You will contribute to building reliable software where quality matters, collaborating with cross-functional teams. ResponsibilitiesImplement and unit test back-end components and front-end web pages.Create, integrate, and test software solutions of moderate complexity.Support, maintain, and resolve issues in production systems.Ensure adherence to security, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls.
Key requirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience; up to 2+ years of related experience.Proficiency in Python, SQL, JavaScript.Web development experience and familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Vue, Angular, React).Understanding of full software development life cycle.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and effective written and verbal communication skills.Experience building applications using an AWS-native, service-oriented architecture (e.g., RDS, Lambdas, IAM Roles, S3, EKS).Fluent written and oral communication in English; authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.strong analytical thinkingproblem-solvingeffective written and verbal communicationPythonSQLJavaScript
