Mailroom Asset Employee 2nd shift

Brief DescriptionOverview: Provide a concise overview of the role's purpose and primary responsibilities.Baldor Mail/Asset employees are responsible for logging, tracking, and receiving all electronics assigned to Baldor employees. They are also responsible for all aspects of the handling and tracking of all mail/packages that arrive at the facility. All mail/packages must be handled according to the Food Defense standards that are in place. In partnership with and under the direction of Baldor Security Management, Mailroom/asset employees must adhere to all Company Standard Operating Procedures and instructions provided by Security Management.Responsibilities: Outline the main duties and tasks the employee will be responsible for. Can have different groupings if includes multiple functions or sub-functions. Adhering to and following all Baldor policies/procedures which include GMP/Safety/Food Safety/Food Defense/Visitor /Security standards. Must be polite, professional and treat all Baldor personnel and visitors with respect. Distribute and track all electronics assigned to and received from Baldor employees. Reporting all discrepancies to Baldor Supervisor/Team Lead prior to shift ending. Handling, picking up from dock and logging all mail/packages received at the facility. Informing all mail/package recipients if mail/package has arrived. Mail room associates are not responsible for delivering mail unless requested by a member of the Executive team. Distribution of all keys to Drivers for deliveries. Remain on post until properly relieved. Failure to do so will lead to disciplinary action. Escalate all minor, moderate, or major incidents to the Supervisor or Lead on duty. Requirements: Specify the necessary qualifications, skills, and experience required for the role. English proficiency, Spanish a plusEducation and Experience: Matches the Job Architecture Level Descriptors – and specific to functional area.HS Diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years’ experience as mailroom associate, security guard, in physical security or other relevant security experienceTechnology Skills: List the essential technical and soft skills required to perform the job effectively.Microsoft Excel/ WordElectronic mail software - Microsoft Exchange; Microsoft OutlookVideo conferencing software – Microsoft TeamsWork Environment: 5 days a week in FacilityAbility to bend and lift heavy items. Ability to work or stand in a cold environment. Ability to work or stand for extended hours as needed. Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
