This role will be responsible for executing and scaling oncology care coordination operations to support patients, providers, and partners across complex cancer care journeys and supporting other surgical verticals where neededRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced oncology nursing leader to serve as Oncology Care Coordination and Program Operations Lead. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for managing day-to-day care coordination activities while building repeatable, high-quality operational processes and a high value program..The ideal candidate brings deep oncology clinical experience, strong operational judgment, and prior experience working in a fast-paced, tech-enabled care coordination or value-based care environment. This role requires comfort operating both strategically and tactically, with a strong emphasis on execution and patient support.What You'll DoDirectly oversee and participate in patient care coordination for all surgical specialties, with a focus on oncology. Responsibilities will include patient intake, medical record collection, surgical authorizations,  coordination of surgical scheduling, and follow-up support for quality data tracking.Manage and support oncology patients through complex, longitudinal care pathways with a strong focus on communication, education, and emotional support.Ensure timely completion and collection of pre-procedure clearances, benefit verification, and coordination with all providers and facilities.Serve as the primary operational owner for oncology care coordination workflows, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and reliability.Build, document, and continuously improve standard operating procedures for oncology care coordination.Collaborate closely with surgeons, oncologists, imaging partners, infusion centers, care navigators, and benefit managers to resolve issues and prevent delays in care.Monitor active oncology and other surgical specialty cases daily, proactively identifying risks, barriers, or care gaps and intervening as needed.Ensure accurate clinical documentation, compliance with regulatory requirements, and alignment with value-based care contracts.Track operational and clinical performance metrics, patient experience signals, and outcomes to inform improvements.Partner with Oath’s internal operations, medical, and technology teams to implement tools that improve coordination efficiency.Act as a first-line strategic contributor, user and tester of Oath technology and AI-enabled coordination tools, providing practical, workflow-driven feedback.What You Bring7+ years of oncology nursing experience, including direct patient care and care coordination or navigation.Active RN license; oncology certification strongly preferred.Demonstrated experience managing complex care pathways end-to-end.
