The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, with a focus on SaaS, software licensing, NDAs, vendor, and partnership agreements. This role requires a collaborative and advisory approach, as the Assistant General Counsel will work cross-functionally with different business units and support legal operations in the context of the company's significant growth. Additionally, the role involves handling ad hoc legal matters such as M&A, corporate governance, data privacy, and IP. Applicants must have a JD from an accredited law school, a minimum of 2 years' in-house experience at a technology company, and a strong background in outbound/vendor side SaaS negotiating. The position demands the ability to manage a high volume of commercial contracts and a proven track record of working effectively with various business units. The role is a hybrid position, with a requirement to be in the NYC or Arlington, VA office for at least 3 days a week.
