Equipment Operator (CDL Preferred) Utility Line Clearance Company: Davey Tree Surgery Co. Locations: Cambridge, OH Additional Locations: Guernsey County, OH; Dover, OH; New Philadelphia, OH; Tuscarawas County, OH Work Site: On Site Position Overview: We are currently looking to add a dynamic Equipment / Jarraff / SkyTrim Operator to our passionate team of utility line clearance professionals who will be joining a team servicing the Guernsey and Tuscarawas County, Ohio regions which includes: Cambridge, Dover, and New Philadelphia. Job Duties: Position involves operating Jarraff / SkyTrim mobile equipment on utility right-of-way. Responsible for equipment and crew safety when removing trees on utility right-of-way. Assist in all job functions as a member of the crew. Qualifications: What We're Seeking: Love of the outdoors. Prefer a minimum of two (2) years mobile equipment operating experience and training which provides the necessary operations skills, knowledge and abilities is required. Be capable of successfully passing a mobile equipment operations certification test. Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire. Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire. Required: valid driver's license. Preferred: Commercial Driver's License-Class A or B with Air Brake Endorsement. Preferred: line clearance experience or other related tree work. Preferred: relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law. Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist, ISA Certified Tree Worker, and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Profession.
