This is an ideal role for candidates seeking leadership, autonomy, and a long-term home.Key Responsibilities-Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust returns (1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041)-Manage and grow a portfolio of 200-300 clients-Review and reconcile financial statements in QuickBooks-Perform technical tax research and provide actionable recommendations-Oversee multiple engagements to ensure accuracy and timely delivery-Respond to IRS and state correspondence (audits, notices)-Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff-Participate in review and compilation engagements (preferred, not required)-Stay current on federal and state tax law changesQualifications-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field-CPA or EA preferred-5+ years of recent public accounting experience-Strong technical knowledge of individual and business taxation-Experience with UltraTax and QuickBooks strongly preferred-Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
