From our Lexington, NC facility, the Rolling Stock division leads North America in building passenger coaches, locomotives, and light rail vehicles—delivering safer, more reliable, and more sustainable transportation.What you’ll doAssemble critical systems in passenger coaches: roofs, pre-built cable harnesses, mounted components, electrical racks and panels, plus air supply racks and piping modules.Wire and terminate components: connect leads, components, terminals, and contact points; cut wire to length; route, twist, wrap, tie, and secure to terminal points.Execute rework cycles: disassemble, modify, refurbish, and reassemble parts to meet specifications.Interpret technical documents: production blueprints, wiring diagrams, parts lists, wire lists, sketches, and verbal instructions to deliver electrical/electro-mechanical subassemblies.Use fine-motor precision to assemble small parts with high dexterity.ScheduleMonday–Thursday, 5:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.QualificationsHigh school diploma or state-recognized GED, or equivalent education/experience in manufacturing or related fields.Background in electrical panel assembly, construction, automotive, or electrical service work.Electro-mechanical assembly experience.Basic English communication skills (written and verbal).Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and part lists is advantageous.Physical requirementsFrequent walking; reaching; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.Comfort working overhead.Occasional lifting/moving up to 40 lbs.Vision capabilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus.Rewards and benefits11 paid holidays and 18 days of PTO.401(k) with 6% company match.Health, Dental, Vision, HSA/FSA, and Commuter Benefits starting Day 1—supporting balance and well-being.Engage in impactful, innovative transportation projects.Dynamic, technology-forward environment.Competitive total rewards and recognition.Tuition reimbursement, mentorship, online learning, and paid innovation programs—grow and get rewarded for your ideas.Employee discounts and additional perks.Benefit details: https://www.benefitsquickstart.com/siemens/index.htmlPay (Lexington, NC): $18.00–$22.14 per hour.
