🚨 We're Hiring: Sr. SSD Application Engineer📍 Location: Milpitas, CA💼 Full-Time Opportunity💰 Pay Rate: Salary Open (DOE)🏢 Industry: Data Storage / Semiconductor TechnologyWe are seeking a Senior SSD Application Engineer to support enterprise SSD solutions, customer integration, firmware debugging, and technical product adoption.🔹 Key Responsibilities:✅ Develop and support SSD firmware features aligned with product specifications and customer requirements✅ Debug and troubleshoot SSD issues related to PCIe and NVMe interfaces✅ Perform root cause analysis for firmware, hardware, and platform-level issues✅ Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and customer engineering teams to resolve technical challenges✅ Support customer SSD validation, qualification, and deployment activities✅ Analyze PCIe protocol traces and debug host interface-related problems✅ Act as a technical advisor during customer meetings, presentations, and product discussions✅ Advocate customer technical requirements and drive internal teams toward successful delivery🔹 Required Qualifications:✅ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field✅ 3+ years of experience in SSD firmware applications engineering✅ Strong knowledge of SSD controller and firmware architecture✅ Hands-on experience with PCIe and NVMe protocols✅ Proficiency in C/C++ programming and data structures✅ Experience with JTAG/ICE debuggers and Git version control✅ Experience with SSD/HDD systems, SAS/SATA, PCIe, and enterprise storage platforms✅ Knowledge of Linux and Windows-based data center environments✅ Strong customer communication, troubleshooting, and presentation skills⭐ Preferred Skills:• Experience with PCIe Switches, RAID Controllers, HBAs, JBOD/JBOF systems• Familiarity with logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and bus protocol analyzers• Enterprise data center architecture knowledge• Mandarin language proficiency preferred📩 Interested candidates?
