CDL Class A Driver part-time

Kitchen Fresh Foods is a USDA approved preparer of FRESH prepackaged food. We offer private label products for micro market, vending, convenience, and event market segments. Kitchen Fresh Foods offers over 450 items on our rotating menu, we are proud to be able to supply the GREATEST VARITY of FRESH products to our fresh food partners! Kitchen Fresh Foods is looking for an experienced truck driver who meets all DOT qualifications an excellent driving record and clean background. You must possess a valid drivers license with a minimum of a Class A CDL including air brake endorsement. No slip seating. Newer equipment and lease maintained. Responsibilities Transport finished goods over land to retail and distribution centers Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and report items for preventative maintenance Dedicated routes to meet delivery schedules Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts Input “macros” into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations Skills Proven work experience as a safe truck driver Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software Ability to drive long hours Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.) Valid truck driving license Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $25.50 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Cell phone reimbursement Dental insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Paid training Vision insurance Work Location: On the road
