Accounting Clerk / Title Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented Title Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle title processing. If you have a passion for research and providing excellent customer service, we want to hear from you!Benefits:Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceHealth savings account401(k) matchingEmployee discountLife insuranceDisability insurancePaid time offReferral programResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:Processes all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.Prepares tax and title documents.Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lien holder paid off before processing title applications.Check for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete.Prepares payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins.Processes out-of-state titles and registrations.Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work. Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles.Processes yearly renewal of dealer tags in conjunction with controller..Processes trade documents in a timely and efficient manner.Maintains accurate log of titles coming in.Processing dealer trades and wholesale transactions.Post vehicle transactions to accounting for all salesReconcile Schedules and AccountsReport sales and apply for rebatesPrepare daily report of contracts and vehicle receivables dueProcess after sale warranties and related documents for month end.Maintaining strict compliance with all Titling laws and filing requirements.Troubleshooting and problem resolution specific to titles; odometer discrepancies, power of attorney, etc.Maintain a high level of confidentiality.Schedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayExperience:Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver's License (Preferred)About Us: Our family has been in the automotive business for nearly 80 years.
