Junior Java Developer with React 18 (3 positions)Long Term RoleCharlotte, NC - Hybrid schedule (Must)Only local as it's an In person Interview!React 18 - 1 year of exp suffice.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and deploy scalable enterprise applications using Java and React 18.Build modern front-end applications using React 18, JavaScript, and related frameworks.Develop robust backend services and APIs using Java.Participate in the development of a greenfield platform designed to consolidate multiple existing applications.Design and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.Work with SQL Server for application data and database development.Contribute to application architecture, technical design, coding, testing, and production implementation.Collaborate with other software engineers, technical leads, architects, product teams, and business stakeholders.Follow secure software development practices and ensure applications meet enterprise security standards.Troubleshoot and resolve application performance, functionality, and production issues.Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality, scalability, and maintainability.Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools, including GitHub Copilot, to improve engineering productivity where appropriate.Work effectively within a shared-resource model supporting multiple teams and managers.Required QualificationsStrong hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Java.Strong hands-on experience with React, with specific experience in React 18 strongly preferred/required.Strong JavaScript development experience.Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.Strong understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented programming, and application architecture.Experience working with SQL Server and relational databases.Experience with modern software development, testing, debugging, and deployment practices.Ability to read and thoroughly understand technical requirements and existing codebases.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with aggressive delivery timelines.Skills: application,software,application architecture,java,design,react,code,javascript
