Receiving Lead Person The Receiving Lead Person coordinates the activities for the Receiving department. Interacts with purchasing and operations to ensure material availability as well as expediting those materials.Essential FunctionsPlans and coordinates receiving, storage, shipping components, and delivery of materialsOversees material inspection of receiving goods as well as manages non-conformance processingCoordinates the work of the Receiving AssociatesOversees the Nucraft truck schedulePrints and matches production issue notes to production paperwork.Receives and puts away parts and other materials from suppliers.Prepares and ships as well as receives subcontracted partsPulls parts as requested by various production work centers.Manages the weekly cycle count of parts and makes adjustments daily.Daily housekeeping of the Receiving areaProfessional communication with leaders, associates, as well as working directly with purchasing departmentOversees the daily work orders scheduleAdditional FunctionsAssists other areas as necessary.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesAttention to detail and basic computer skillsGood customer service skillsAbility to work independently with minimal directionAbility to interact professionally, cooperatively and productivelyCarry out assignments to completion within parameters of general instructionsMeet multiple deadlines consistentlyExternal Contacts:Supplier: Occasionally interact with suppliers to check on incoming part status or quality concerns.Working ConditionsThe following conditions described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.The work environment requires the associate to work in a loud production machine area.
