Experience needs to include extensive masonry experience, usually requiring journeyman status or equivalent expertise.This position requires a criminal background check. Therefore, you may be required to provide information about your criminal history in order to be considered for this position. Qualifications Education and Experience: Currently certified as an instructor in a specialty area by a nationally recognized vocational training program and experience equivalent to two years of full-time work instructing a specialty area. OR Possession of a certification in a specialty area by a nationally recognized vocational training program and 5 years of experience. Necessary Special Qualifications: For uncertified instructor applicants, this position requires the incumbent to enroll in a certified instructional program within the first six months of employment and to be completed within two years after employment begins. Overview Summary: Under general supervision, is responsible for sub professional career and technical education instruction work of average difficulty; and performs related work as required. Distinguishing Features: An employee in this class is responsible for instructing rehabilitation and correctional students in career and technical training in order to prepare them to re-enter the job market.
