ARDMS Ultrasound Technologist
The Ultrasound Technologist is skilled in performing comprehensive diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist in identifying various diseases and conditions. While one year of experience is preferred, new graduates who are registered or registry eligible are encouraged to apply. Registry-eligible new graduates must obtain registration through ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography) within 12 months of hire. Education & Certifications Current registration or registry eligibility with ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography) Maintain current AHA CPR certification Experience & Skills Technical proficiency in diagnostic and vascular sonography Strong verbal and written communication skills Compassionate patient care with understanding of developmental needs across all age groups Ability to interact effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds and ages Physical Requirements Good dexterity and visual acuity Mobility to assume various positions and respond to emergencies Ability to stand for extended periods and perform bending and lifting tasks Potential exposure to blood or infectious materials This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative healthcare environment serving a broad regional community in the Southeastern United States.
