Duties of the SMT Operator include but are not limited to loading and operating SMT machines, troubleshooting and diagnosing errors, performing quality inspections to identify defects, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Experience with Mycronic equipment is preferred, though proficiency with comparable SMT systems will also be considered.Core Competencies:2-3 years of experience on Mycronic or similar equipmentHigh attention to detailAbility to read PCB layouts and work instructionsBasic computer skillsUnderstanding of electronics manufacturing processesDay in the Life:Prepare and load machinesInspect boards for defects (misaligned components, solder bridges, etc.)Troubleshoot and diagnose errors and adjust machines to improve placement accuracyClean and maintain equipmentRecord production data, defects, and machine performanceWork with engineers, quality teams, and production supervisors to keep the line running smoothlyAlicat Scientific Inc. has been manufacturing and servicing high-quality mass flow and pressure devices since 1991, growing every year for the past 25 years.
