In these programs, patients who have Medicaid can hire the caregiver they choose. This client helpsfacilitatethe payments to caregivers, ensuring that they receive compensation for taking care of their loved ones.This remote, flexible opportunity pays independent contractors$13 per hour.Essential FunctionsAnswering incoming calls from patients and caregivers with compassion and professionalism, responding to theirquestionsand providingimportant informationMaking outbound calls to patients and caregiversActivelyassistingwith enrollment, program applications, and set up in applicable systemsRetrieving information toassistcaregivers with any payroll-related inquiriesUtilizing de-escalation techniques when supporting upset or frustrated callersOffering guidance and directions to both caregivers and patients to effectively resolve any issuesthey’refacingDocumenting information and outcomes as necessaryAbout YouTo support this client, you should have at least one year of customer service experience. You will also need strong computer skills and the ability to offer troubleshooting advice whenappropriate. In addition, you will need:The ability to offer empathy, patience, and a friendly demeanorat all timesThe ability to handle calls of a sensitive nature and de-escalate emotionally charged patients and caregiversGreat active listening skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detailThe ability to multitask and adapt to change in a fast-paced environmentA quality-focused mindset and a desire to achieve first call resolution whenever possibleThe ability toaccurately and confidently work with numbers and discuss moneyYour Home Office EnvironmentTo be a Customer Service Representative, you will need:A computermeeting these criteria:Operating System: Windows 10 or 11 (Macs and Chromebooks are not supportedat this time)Memory: 8GB of RAMCPUs (Speed * Processors): 6Hard Drive: At least 500MB of free spaceSound: sound card (standard on most computers)Up-to-date antivirus softwareAccess to high-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or Satellite, please)Dual monitorsA USB noise-cancelling headsetA webcam for your certification experienceWhereNexRepContractsNexRepcontracts with people in 31 states. The only states we do not currently contract inare:AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, HI, IL, MA, MD, ME, MN, MO, NJ, NY, OR, RI, VT, WA, and WI. We do not currently contract with anyone outside of the US.Flexible Hours of OperationAs a Customer Service Representative,you’llenjoy flexible scheduling, where you use a self-scheduling platform to select when you work and when youdon’t, within the client’s hours of operation.Hoursof operation are Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 08:00 PM ET. Please note that this third-party client requires that contractors service between 30-35 hours per week. Also, due to Mondays and Fridays being particularly busy, the client is seeking contractors who can service some hours on those days.
