Operating within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, this position offers significant visibility and the opportunity to build foundational structure for a growing U.S. operation.Position OverviewThe HR Manager will oversee day-to-day human resources operations while partnering closely with leadership to improve workflows, ensure strict compliance, and support employee engagement. This individual will handle a full spectrum of HR functions, including payroll administration, benefits coordination, employee relations, onboarding, and process optimization.The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who is comfortable building structure where it is needed and scaling HR practices to support business growth.Key Responsibilities:Human Resources Operations & StrategyManage daily HR operations for a rapidly growing employee population.Design, implement, and maintain scalable HR processes, policies, and documentation.Ensure absolute compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.Provide direct HR guidance, workforce planning, and strategic support to executive leadership.Maintain comprehensive, accurate employee records and HR documentation.Payroll & Benefits AdministrationOversee and execute end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring complete accuracy and timeliness.Administer employee benefits programs, managing enrollments, changes, and terminations.Coordinate directly with benefit providers and third-party vendors to resolve employee issues.Lead open enrollment initiatives and manage ongoing benefits communication.Employee Relations & ComplianceManage unemployment claims, employment verifications, and general HR compliance matters.Address employee relations issues promptly, maintaining thorough performance-related documentation.Ensure all internal company practices align with current employment laws and corporate policies.Conduct and document internal investigations with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.Talent & Organizational SupportCoordinate and elevate the onboarding and new hire orientation processes.Support internal recruiting and talent acquisition initiatives as needed to meet hiring goals.Identify operational inefficiencies across the department and implement rapid process improvements.Qualifications:Experience: 2+ years of progressive, hands-on Human Resources experience (with the capacity to manage comprehensive HR functions independently).Core Competencies: Strong background in payroll administration, employee benefits management, unemployment claims, and HR compliance.Environment: Proven experience working within small to mid-sized organizations navigating high-growth environments or organizational transitions.Operational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, acute attention to detail, and a proven track record of implementing structure in evolving workplaces.Problem Solving: Self-starter mindset with strong initiative, prioritization skills, and the agility to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with both frontline employees and leadership.Technical Proficiency: Skilled in utilizing HRIS platforms, modern payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred BackgroundExperience supporting organizations backed by private equity or undergoing rapid corporate scaling.Background or familiarity recruiting for/working in technology, operations, manufacturing, security, logistics, or service-based industries.
