The Facilities Maintenance Co-Op will gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced technicians to support preventative maintenance, troubleshoot facility systems, and assist with building infrastructure projects.Key Responsibilities:Assist with preventative maintenance on facility systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVACSupport troubleshooting of basic mechanical and electrical issuesAssist with minor plumbing repairs and fixture replacementsSupport installation and repair of lighting, outlets, and general building componentsPerform general facility upkeep tasks (doors, docks, racking, etc.)Shadow experienced technicians to learn diagnostics and repair techniquesMaintain safe work practices and proper PPE usageHelp document maintenance activities and service logsSupport continuous improvement initiatives within the facilityOther duties as assigned.RequirementsCurrently enrolled in a skilled trades, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, HVAC, or Plumbing programBasic knowledge of building operations, mechanical systems, and general building maintenance principles preferredExposure to electrical, mechanical, or HVAC systems through coursework or hands-on lab experience strongly preferredUnderstanding of basic tools, equipment, and safe construction/maintenance practicesAbility to follow technical instructions and learn building systems, repair procedures, and maintenance best practicesStrong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn in a hands-on industrial environmentAbility to work safely and adhere to PPE and safety protocols Must be able to pass background check and drug screening Modula Inc. is an EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity) Employer.
