Payroll Specialist - Asset Management One of Boston's top firms is looking to hire a Payroll Specialist to add to the team. This position will be responsible for a blend of reporting, analysis, processing, compliance, and business partnering as is pertains to payroll. This is a great role if you're an analytical professional looking for a top company with opportunities for growth & professional development.Compensation / Benefits:Strong base pay+ bonus+ profit sharing+ defined promotion track+ opportunities for growth & professional development+ hybrid working environment in Boston, MAResponsibilities:Responsible for specific quarterly / annual, and ad hoc reporting for both domestic & international payrollResponsible for multi-state payroll processingResponsible for record keeping within the HRIS, including sensitive employee related informationResponsible for managing all healthcare, benefits, and 401k plan administrationInput international employee payroll data to in-house payroll system for employees requiring W-2 reportingPerform reconciliations for payroll general ledger accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basisDevelop, document, and maintain policies and procedures that support accurate and timely multi-state payroll processingMaintain daily interaction with Human ResourcesCalculate vacation and personal time, verify employment and maintain confidentialityAssist in year-end W-2 preparation, fringe benefit processingResearch and respond to tax notices from Federal, State and Local agenciesAd hoc projects as requiredQualifications:Bachelor’s degree2+ years of Payroll processing / administration / reporting experienceAnalytical, logical, methodical and intellectually curiousProblem solving and issues resolution managementExcellent system and Excel spreadsheet capabilitiesInterest in growth & professional development
