Position: Mechatronics/Electro-Mechanical Lead EngineerLocation: Sunnyvale, CA 100% Onsite (Locals Preferred) Need to appear for F2F after the initial two video interviewsWe are looking for experience in mechatronics (mechanical-electrical-software machine/fixture design), electromechanical fixture design, and motion control and NX. This experience is most important. Consumer electronics experience is nice to havePosition OverviewTake comprehensive responsibility for designing and producing hardware, systems, and prototypes that support product development and validation teams.Design and develop electromechanical and mechatronics systems for internal testing of wearable consumer devices.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and product designers to establish specifications, ensuring all requirements are incorporated effectively into project plans.Lead a team while contributing individually by creating 3D models, detailed designs, and participating in design reviews.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvanced expertise in Siemens NX and surface modeling.Proven experience in creating high-precision mechanisms and electromechanical assemblies.In-depth knowledge of manufacturing techniques such as die casting, injection molding, metal stamping, and forging.Understanding tolerance analysis for fixture designs.Familiarity with product life cycle management, particularly in early-stage development, production, and launch.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.Proven leadership experience in team settings.Proficiency in Siemens NX for CAD design.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience in generating technical reports and presenting findings in formal reviews.Preferred SkillsPrevious experience developing production drawings for consumer electronics using NX.Ability to interpret and analyze mechanical, electrical, and electronic schematics.Competent in making tradeoff decisions quickly using sound engineering principles.Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills.Experience in designing both plastic and metal components for a variety of manufacturing methods.Familiarity with mass production environments and working under tight deadlines.Capable of operating efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with minimal supervision.Experience in data analysis using tools like Python, MATLAB, or JMP.Knowledge of project management methods such as V-Models, DFSS, Gantt charts, or similar tools.
