This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, Celonis platform configuration, and data analysis, enabling teams to understand how processes truly operate and where inefficiencies exist.You will work closely with delivery teams and business stakeholders to onboard data from multiple systems, configure Celonis models, analyze process performance, and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations.This role is ideal for a strong data engineer or data analyst who can quickly learn Celonis and is comfortable working with complex, messy data to tell a compelling operational story.Key ResponsibilitiesData Engineering & IntegrationDesign, build, and maintain data pipelines feeding CelonisIngest data from multiple enterprise systems, using:Native Celonis connectors where availableDirect database integrations when connectors do not existCustom ingestion approaches as neededSupport data preparation, transformation, and modeling for process mining use casesCelonis Platform ConfigurationConfigure Celonis data models, process models, and supporting componentsSupport onboarding of new datasets and business use casesPartner with existing pipeline teams to reduce configuration and delivery bottlenecksData Analysis & Insight DeliveryPerform end-to-end data analysis, including:Reading and understanding complex datasetsData modeling and validationIdentifying trends, bottlenecks, and inefficienciesTranslate process data into clear insights and visual narrativesCommunicate findings effectively back to technical and non-technical stakeholdersSupport visualization and storytelling, often using tools outside of CelonisRequired QualificationsCore SkillsStrong background in data engineering and/or data analysisProven experience with:SQLData modelingData validation and quality checksAbility to pull and integrate data from multiple, disparate sourcesStrong analytical thinking:Ability to make sense of complex dataAbility to explain what the data means and why it mattersLearning & AdaptabilityAbility to learn Celonis quickly and apply it to real delivery workComfortable working in fast-moving environments with evolving requirementsPreferred / Nice-to-Have SkillsPrior experience with Celonis or other process mining toolsExperience with data visualization tools such as:Power BIQlikOther BI or analytics platformsExperience supporting process improvement, operational analytics, or enterprise transformation initiativesWhat Success Looks Like In This RoleYou can independently onboard data into Celonis and support new use casesYou confidently analyze process data and identify meaningful inefficienciesYou translate technical findings into insights that business teams understand and act onYou help reduce delivery bottlenecks by owning both data and Celonis configuration work
