Lead Systems Engineer (Remote)OverviewWe are seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to support requirements development and systems integration activities for subsystems that connect our battery product to the electrical grid. This role will focus on defining system requirements, ensuring traceability, and supporting verification and validation activities across the product lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesRequirements & System Architecture• Break down high-level system requirements into subsystem and component requirements • Develop functional, logical, and physical system architectures • Define and manage Interface Control Documents (ICDs) between subsystemsSystem Design Support• Ensure subsystem designs are linked to system requirements • Identify and resolve interface requirement issues or gaps • Track and report key subsystem performance metrics • Support technical risk analysis using DFMEAIntegration, Verification & Validation• Define the method of verification for each requirement (analysis, demonstration, inspection, or test) • Review verification plans, tests, and results to ensure subsystem requirements are metRequired Qualifications• Experience managing the full systems engineering lifecycle for complex electromechanical systems • Experience using Jama Connect to manage and track engineering requirementsPreferred Qualifications• Experience with energy storage systems, battery systems, or power electronics • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), preferably using SysML
