Job Title: Pricing AnalystLocation: Naperville IL 60563Duration - 06+ months contract with possible extensionSchedule: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday. FlexibleHybrid: Minimum Of 3 Days Per Week in Office RequiredJob Description:Overview: Responsible for providing project and analytical support to an assigned business line or functional area.Essential functions:Assists in implementation of new pricing accounts.Manages all aspects of system maintenance and ensures contract compliance for assigned accounts.Acts as a project liaison with other departments.Compiles and analyzes pricing issues, identifies root cause, and makes decision for corrective action.Entry level Project Analyst job responsible for performing small and more routine projects and/or assists more senior level analysts by working on a portion of a larger project. Work is typically performed under guidance. Typically requires basic to general level of knowledge of a specific business line or functional area. Incumbent typically has a bachelor’s degree and one to two years of related experience.Freight Payment Pricing Specific:A basic understanding of:Contract ManagerPricing Tools (Excel tools and other resources)Universal Pricing GatewayTransaction ManagerTop Requirements:Intermediate and above excel skills, organizational and time management skills, and data analysis skills.Preferred Skills/Experience:Thorough knowledge of assigned business line or functional areaStrong organizational and analytical skillsThorough knowledge of project managementAbility to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
