As a OB Hospitalist Medical Director with USACS, you’ll be responsible for managing OB hospitalist medicine services by collaborating with the hospital and nursing leadership while offering support to your physician staff. Details Oversee OB hospitalist service operations Supervise OB HM staff, per the bylaws, policies and procedures of the institution Represent the staff in the community and within the hospital HOSPITALIST SERVICE Obstetrics Hospitalists Schedule/hours: 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m. 12- or 24-hour shifts available Medical Setting: Inpatient Volume: 1-2 deliveries per day, 3 inpatients per day Procedures: Deliveries, C-sections, D&Cs, Ectopic pregnancies Support Staff: Back up OB Hospitalist on call, same floor 8-bed intermediate level II NICU EMR: Cerner HOSPITAL Mercy Medical Center Merced (MMCM) provides the opportunity to teach in the Family Practice Residency Program.
