The company is in growth mode with dynamic leadership and a focus on increasing market share nationally.POSITION OVERVIEWThe Strategic Account Executive is responsible for effectively canvassing and covering a large geographic territory in pursuit of new customers and revenue growth. This is a true hunting role with incentives in place for managing and retaining existing customers. The Strategic Account Executive will successfully convert competitive accounts by developing customer advocates and driving new contract sales through the process including supply chain, value analysist committees and C-suite decision makers.IDEAL CANDIDATE EXPERIENCEThe ideal candidate will have 5+ years of sales experience in the healthcare industry calling on hospitals and IDN's. They will have a proven track record of success navigating complex sales through the hospital decision processes in the geographic territory involving high dollar deal sizes and contracts. Additionally they will possess excellent communication, time management and organizational skills. It is also imperative that they have a hunting mindset, strong territory management skills and a history of exceeding quota.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSMust have 5 years of sales experience selling contracts, medical equipment, devices or services into hospitals in the geographic territory to be considered for the position. The position also requires a proven background in new business development activities.
