About the RoleSeeking a Software Engineer with deep expertise in Android AOSP customizations to join our R&D team. You’ll play a key role in porting and customizing Android for embedded hardware, collaborating across hardware, application, and security teams to deliver optimized, reliable, and secure solutions for our connected devices.ResponsibilitiesPort, migrate, and adapt AOSP to custom embedded hardware platforms (x86 and ARM).Customize Android builds at the HAL, system services, and low-level component levels.Develop and optimize Android kernel and framework layers for performance, security, and reliability.Collaborate with cross-functional hardware and application teams on integration.Mentor engineers, lead technical design decisions, and conduct code reviews.Stay current on embedded Android, kernel, and wireless ecosystem developments.Must-Have ExpertiseProven Android AOSP customization and migration experience.Hands-on embedded Android development (system-level, not just apps).HAL, system services, and low-level Android internals.Linux/Android kernel modifications.Strong C/C++ programming skills (some Java preferred).
