Collision ManagerClassificationExemptJob SummaryThe Collision Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and overall performance of the dealership's collision center, ensuring the achievement of revenue, gross profit, cycle time, and customer satisfaction goals.Essential FunctionsProvide leadership to estimators, body technicians, paint technicians, and support staffDrive consistent execution of dealership and OEM repair standards, and work closely with department leaders to support overall dealership performanceLead, train, and motivate collision center staff to achieve production, profitability, and customer satisfaction objectivesOversee daily workflow, scheduling, and quality control to ensure timely and accurate vehicle repairsMonitor key performance indicators including cycle time, severity, technician productivity, parts gross, and CSIManage repair order flow from estimate to delivery, ensuring proper documentation and insurer complianceDevelop and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and DRP partnersEnsure accurate estimating and supplements using approved estimating platformsCollaborate with the Parts and Service departments to ensure efficient parts ordering and overall dealership coordinationMonitor expenses, control costs, and manage departmental budgets to meet profitability targetsOversee customer experience initiatives to ensure high CSI scores and timely resolution of customer concernsEnsure compliance with OEM repair procedures, safety regulations, and all federal, state, and local lawsRecruit, hire, train, and retain high-performing collision center personnelMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentQualificationsMinimum 5-7 years of collision repair experience with at least 2-3 years in a management roleDealership collision center experience strongly preferredProven ability to lead teams to achieve strong revenue and gross profit resultsStrong understanding of estimating systems, DRP processes, and insurance claims procedures.Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skillsHigh level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detailProficient in estimating software, DMS, and related automotive systemsValid driver's license and clean driving recordMust reside in the Beaumont / East Texas areaTypical Physical ActivityStand and walk for long periods of timeLift up to 75 poundsThe Collision Manager must perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation, efficiently and accurately, and without causing significant safety risk to self or others.
