Casing Hands
Job Description: Casing Hands for Rig Site locations: Assist in rigging up casing equipment Unchains and gets the truck ready to unload Brings handling equipment to rig floor Remove hoses from power unit to take to the rig floor, transports to floor Properly rig up the tail rope Ensures work area is clean and all hazards are recognized Must communicate clearly with casing supervisors Throw backup tongs when needed Assists in rigging down casing equipment Other duties as assigned by Casing Relief OperatorPhysical Requirements Must pass pre-employment urinalysis and hair follicle drug screening Stand for 10 to 12 hours and walk for about 3 hours throughout the workday Be able to lift/carry between 10 to 50 pounds frequently with occasional lifting of 20 to 100 pounds throughout the workday. Have own reliable transportation to the rig site and casing shopJob Requirements High School Diploma or GED 0-6+ months experience on a large oil and gas drilling rig Effective written and verbal communications Legally able to work in the U.S Must be at least 18 years of age Safety-toe boots and FR-rated clothing required (Company provides coveralls).
