This entry-level role focuses on performing routine lubrication, coolant management, and basic preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient operations.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform routine lubrication of machinery and equipment according to established schedules
Monitor and maintain proper oil, grease, coolant, and other fluid levels in production equipment
Conduct coolant/cooler fluid checks, including concentration, condition, and contamination levels
Perform coolant exchange (drain, flush, and refill) on machines and systems following standard procedures
Assist in preventive maintenance (PM) tasks on manufacturing equipment
Inspect equipment for wear, leaks, overheating, or abnormal fluid conditions and report findings
Replace filters, clean reservoirs/tanks, and remove sludge or buildup from coolant systems
Maintain accurate maintenance and lubrication records/logs, including coolant service history
Follow safety procedures for handling, mixing, and disposing of oils, coolants, and chemicals
Support maintenance technicians and mechanics during repair and equipment servicing
Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S or similar standards

Technical training or coursework in maintenance, mechanics, or a related field is a plus
Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Familiarity with lubricants, coolants, or industrial fluids is a plus (training provided)
Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and maintenance schedules
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Basic computer or data entry skills preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40-50 lbs
Comfortable working around machinery, fluids, and industrial environments
Ability to climb ladders and access equipment as neededWork EnvironmentManufacturing/production facility environment
Exposure to moving machinery, oils, coolants, and varying temperatures
Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
