We are looking for a Principal Manager to join our Development Strategy team at PlayStation Studios. The Development Strategy team works directly with game studios to discover, organize, and communicate the status of their titles, playing a key role in the portfolio title review process across all PlayStation Studios globally.
Responsibilities
Conduct periodic title reviews travelling onsite at studio locations globally as well as virtually.
Drive title review preparations, partnering with studios and coordinating with internal groups such as user research, publishing, forecasting, and finance.
Foster positive relationships by building trust and driving alignment across development teams, executive leadership, and support groups.
Partner with studio leadership to gain a holistic understanding of the game and studio goals, providing actionable insights at key moments throughout the development lifecycle.
Collect and share best practices by working with and learning from PlayStation’s world‑class studios.
Serve as an interpreter, diplomat, and advocate for the title review process to increase transparency with all stakeholders.
Qualifications
Minimum of 6 years of experience in game production.
Strong understanding of the game development lifecycle and industry best practices across multiple game types, genres, platforms, and business models.
Ability to review and analyze development stage deliverables—creative, financial, and business‑related—to determine if games are tracking as expected and according to schedule.
Well organized and analytical, with a strong emphasis on communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize, plan, and execute simultaneously across multiple projects with varying stakeholders.
Familiarity with working with global teams across different time zones.
Experience with tools for user research, playtesting, and metrics analysis.
Adaptable, curious team player, capable of working collaboratively or independently as required by the task.
Leadership or managerial experience is a plus.
Relocation supported to a suitable location with an SIE entity.

The estimated base pay range for this role is $186,200—$232,800 USD.
