We sell to music retailers nationwide. We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide support to our office employees, ensuring they have all the information and resources they need to perform their best. Your responsibilities will include answering phone calls, responding to or forwarding emails, printing sales orders, invoicing orders, and assisting the management team with other clerical tasks as needed. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.ResponsibilitiesAnswer incoming phone calls and route them to the appropriate personAnswer emails and respond to them accordinglyPrint sales ordersInvoice customer ordersAssist team with clerical tasksFile documentsProcess vendor receiver entries into the systemAudit freight invoices against freight receiving documentationContact freight transportation departments to resolve any invoice issuesAssist with any customs or declaration paperwork needed for imported shipmentsQualificationsAssociate’s degree or administrative training is required.Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar positionFamiliarity with standard office equipment such as printers and fax machinesExcellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPointHighly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects
