Laboratory Technician

🔧 Hiring: Lab Technician (Contract Role) 📍 Location: Granville, Ohio (43023) 🕒 Shift: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM 💰 Pay Rate: $25/hour (W2) 24 month ContractWe are looking for a hands-on Lab Technician to support residential roofing product testing and innovation. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic lab environment contributing to product quality and development.🔍 Key ResponsibilitiesConduct routine testing on roofing products (shingles, underlayments, etc.)Prepare samples and perform standardized tests as per SOPsRecord and maintain test data in LIMS or similar systemsEnsure proper documentation of observations and resultsMaintain lab equipment, tools, and workspace cleanlinessCollaborate with engineers, scientists, and cross-functional teams🛡️ Safety & ComplianceFollow all lab safety procedures and company policiesIdentify and mitigate hazardsParticipate in safety initiatives and “Near Miss” reporting✅ Required Qualifications2+ years of forklift experienceExperience working with lab equipmentKnowledge of ASTM testing standardsComfortable using MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Experience in manufacturing and/or lab environment🎓 PreferredAssociate’s Degree💡 What We’re Looking ForStrong attention to detailTeam player with the ability to work independentlyAdaptable in fast-paced environmentsAccountable and reliableComfortable working in hands-on, industrial lab settings
