Must meet the minimum requirements for employment: · Must be at least 18 Years of age · Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen · Must have experience operating off road equipment · Be reliable and have own transportation to and from work · Have a positive attitude and the ability to work well with others and follow instructions · Possess strong organizational skills and the motivation to operate in a professional and safe manner · Previous Off Road Haul Truck experience preferred, but not required. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES · Good communication skills, able to take direction well, think ahead and work efficiently. · Must be able to follow direction, and work both independently and in a team environment. · Perform daily start-up procedures of equipment · Must be able to transport and dump loose aggregate safely · Must be able to climb on and off equipment · Must have good hand/eye coordination and be able to operate foot & hand controls · Must be able to sit for long periods and operate equipment · Perform cleanup operations and other duties as determined by manager · Adhere to all company policies and procedures and conduct self in a safe and professional manner. · Maintain and ensure consistent and accurate work, safety logs, and maintenance reports · Be able to identify and track additional work beyond scope · Work flexible hours including weekends when needed WORKING CONDITIONS · Must be able to lift up to #50lbs without assistance bend, and stoop, squat, kneel, reach, grip, etc. · This position requires a frequent use of hands, wrists, arms, shoulders, and includes grasping, reaching and squeezing · While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use verbal, written, visual and listening/hearing communication skills, and use of hands and fingers. · Frequently, required to stand, walk, kneel and/or sit for long periods of time · Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus · Must be able to pushing and pull up to 50lbs without assistance · Exposed to dirty conditions and to various weather conditions, rain, sleet, snow, wind heat and cold · Jobs are performed in outside environment with close proximity to yard traffic, heavy construction equipment and hazardous conditions COMPENSATION / BENEFITS · Delta offers a very competitive compensation and benefit package including: Medical, Dental, and Life Insurance.
