This role requires a highly accountable engineer who takes full ownership of deliverables, leads a development team, and provides technical direction across the entire software lifecycle.The ideal candidate combinesstrong engineering fundamentals with modern AI-assisted development practices , and can guide a team to build scalable, reliable software under tight delivery timelines.This individual will define architecture, enforce engineering standards, mentor developers, and implement modern development practices usingAI-assisted tools such as Claude and Cursorto accelerate development and testing.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership Lead and mentor a team of full-stack engineers delivering enterprise healthcare software. Takeownership of delivery commitments , ensuring features are shipped reliably and on time. Providetechnical direction and architectural guidanceacross backend, frontend, integrations, and data layers. Conductcode reviews and pull request reviewsto maintain high engineering quality.Architecture & Engineering Standards Definesolution architecture and technical design patternsfor the platform. Establishcoding standards, architectural principles, and development guidelines . Document architecture, standards, and engineering processes usingstructured Cursor MD filesto guide AI-assisted code generation. Ensure the team followsbest practices in design patterns, anti-patterns, and maintainable code structure .AI-Driven Development Practices ImplementAI-assisted development workflowsusing tools such as: Claude for design reasoning and architectural assistance Cursor for code generation and multi-file refactoring Translate engineering standards intostructured prompts and documentationthat drive high-quality AI-generated code. Build and maintainautomated testing frameworksand validation pipelines to ensure the reliability of AI-generated code.Software Development Lifecycle Ownership Manage and guide the full SDLC, including: Git based development workflows CI/CD pipelines Code review practices Test automation Release management Continuously improve engineering processes to supporthigh-velocity development without sacrificing quality .Platform Development Work hands-on across the technology stack, including:Backend Java / Spring Boot microservices API architecture and integrationsFrontend Angular (current) React (future transition)Data SQL Server Data modeling and performance optimizationCloud Azure cloud infrastructure Cloud-native architecture patternsIntegrations & Data Design and implement integrations using: REST APIs data pipelines event-driven systems Ensure robust data management and platform scalability.Product & UX Awareness Understand the impact of technical decisions onuser experience and workflow efficiency .
