Developer Advocate

Overview:We’re looking for a high-agency, community-driven Developer Advocate to join our team. You’ll be the boots on the ground—creating content, representing us at events, engaging online, and growing a thriving developer community.You don’t need to know everything, but you should be excited to learn and ready to roll up your sleeves. Location:Hybrid (based in the San Francisco Bay Area)Key Responsibilities:Act as the face of the developer community, both online and in personCreate compelling, educational, and inspiring content (blogs, videos, tutorials, etc.)Represent the company at local events, meetups, and conferences (including nights/weekends when necessary)Engage with developers through platforms like Discord and social mediaOrganize and run community events with strong attention to detailSupport community members, answer questions, and foster relationshipsCollaborate closely with product and engineering teams to surface developer feedbackWhat we are looking forHas prior experience as a developer (even if no longer coding day-to-day)Communicates clearly and effectively, both written and spokenHighly self-motivated and thrives in autonomous rolesPassionate about developer communities and eager to help others succeedWilling to travel in the future for events and engagementsFlexible work schedule (some evening and weekend events may be required)Nice to Have:Experience managing or engaging in Discord or similar communitiesPrevious community management experienceJunior developer mentorship or support experience
