Hematology/Oncology Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology provider to join our locum team for a malignant hematology-focused practice. This is a great opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment with physician and APP support.Assignment Details:Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)Shift Coverage: All clinic patients and charting completed during shift; overtime only with manager approvalStart Date & Duration: Late April/Early May; minimum 6-month assignmentFTE/Hours: 1 FTE, 40 hours per week, 4 weeks per monthCall: Pager coverage 5 PM 8 AM Monday Thursday; fellows on first call; provider serves as second call; no weekend callPatient & Practice Details:Patient Population: Leukemia, lymphoma, and malignant hematology (NO bone marrow transplant)Procedures: APPs perform bone marrow biopsies; no additional procedures requiredVolume: patients/day (New = 45 mins, Follow-up = 20 mins)Support Team: 4 MDs, APPs, RNs, and MAsEMR System: EPIC
