They also offer preventative maintenance, equipment sourcing, CMM inspections, automation and programming, measurement technical support, calibration recall system management, and performance tracking dashboards.Job SummaryThe Business Support Associate supports operational, logistics, and procurement activities across the metrology platform to ensure efficient execution of programs and customer commitments. This role works closely with the Market Manager and cross-functional teams to maintain accurate documentation, coordinate communication flow, and ensure compliance with standard work instructions, supplier requirements, and organizational processes. The position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Roles And ResponsibilitiesAssist in the implementation of programs and processes to meet business goalsAccurately document costs, commitments, and maintain data integritySupport communication flow between customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders across the global metrology platformFollow established standard work instructions to ensure quality and complianceAdhere to outsource vendor plans and Authorized Supplier List (ASL) requirementsCoordinate with customers to ensure logistics objectives, priorities, and schedules are achievedCoordinate and conduct pick-up and delivery of measuring equipmentPrepare equipment for shipment, ensuring proper documentation and accurate billingTroubleshoot logistics issues and coordinate resolutions or recommend solutionsManage all aspects of the procurement process, including purchasing and invoicingEnsure accurate and timely processing and payment of invoicesProcess purchase orders including quoting, requisition creation, and invoice processingCollaborate with leadership to obtain approvals for purchases and activitiesCoordinate the delivery of goods and services internally and externallyManage workflow and communicate technical and business requirements related to asset deliveryCollect, organize, and report data to maintain program status and complianceSupport monthly reviews of labor and non-labor data with the Market ManagerAnalyze data trends and provide recommendations for improvementInitiate and track corrective actions and follow-upsPerform other duties as assignedBasic QualificationsUndergraduate degree and 1 year of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of a degreeAbility to follow structured processes and maintain accuracy in documentationStrong organizational and communication skillsCapability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesU.S. Citizenship required due to client requirementsMust meet any specific contract requirements regarding education and experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience in logistics, procurement, or supply chain operationsFamiliarity with metrology, calibration services, or technical service environmentsExperience working with ERP systems or purchase order processesStrong analytical skills with experience reviewing operational dataAbility to identify process improvements and implement solutionsKBR BenefitsKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
