This role drives process optimization, supports NPI programs, and serves as a key technical resource for production, quality, and engineering teams.Essential Duties:Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions for aerospace componentsSupport CNC programming and machining strategy development for complex partsReview engineering drawings and ensure manufacturability (GD&T, models, specs)Provide technical support to production and quality teams to resolve issuesEstablish and validate standard hours and routing assumptionsLead NPI process development and industrialization of new productsEvaluate nonconforming parts and develop repair solutionsDrive Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to improve cost, quality, and deliveryMentor engineers and support cross-functional engineering changesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent aerospace manufacturing experience (15+ years)Strong aerospace machining and/or metallic structures backgroundExperience interpreting engineering drawings and GD&TCAD experience (CATIA, SolidWorks, or NX preferred)Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, and process planningExperience supporting NPI and production environmentsPreferred:Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma experienceAerospace machining and fixture design experienceStrong background in process optimization and cost reductionExperience in regulated aerospace/defense environmentsBenefits:Competitive salary + performance-based compensationMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement planPTO and holidaysCareer growth in a highly technical aerospace environmentDisclaimer: The compensation and benefits information in this posting represent a good faith and reasonable estimate of what it might pay for this position .
