Your expertise in PLC programming, combined with your knowledge of Industry 4.0 and IoT technologies, will be crucial in developing innovative automated solutions that drive operational efficiency. Your role will be essential in driving innovation and maintaining operational excellence across our manufacturing facilities./n/nResponsibilities:/n/n- Program PLC's (Siemens) and Robot's (Fanuc & Yaskawa)/n- Create and manage electrical bill of materials/n- Purchase of electrical components/n- Develop schematics and control panel layouts/n- Commission and test industrial automated machinery/n- Have experience with Industry 4.0 (IOT)/n- Troubleshoot, test and repair electronic production equipment./n- Perform electrical and mechanical repairs as required to maintain all processes in the factory./n- Develop a thorough understanding of all electromechanical control systems in the factory./n- Notify appropriate management personnel and assist in the solution of the problems./n- Contribute ideas for improvements in all areas using the appropriate means of communication./n- Maintain a neat and orderly workplace./n- Demonstrate the Company's Core and Growth Values in performance of all job functions./n- Familiar with PLC's and able to log onto PLC controlled system (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.)./n- De-bugging, running off, and installation of new and rebuilt equipment./n- Assist in the termination and hook-up of equipment as required./n/n/nQualifications:/n/n- Associates degree in Automation Systems, Industrial Controls and Electrical Technology, PLC Programming, or something relevant/n- Strong experience with Siemens PLCs/n- Hands‐on experience programming Fanuc and/or Yaskawa robots/n- Ability to log into, troubleshoot, and modify PLC‐controlled systems across multiple platforms/n- Experience commissioning and debugging automated equipment/n- Ability to read and develop electrical schematics and control designs/n- Strong troubleshooting and problem‐solving skills/n- Effective communication and collaboration skills/n/n/nAdditional Qualifications, preferred:/n/n- Experience with Industry 4.0, IoT, and manufacturing data systems/n- Experience developing HMIs and advanced control algorithms/n- Background in high‐volume or complex manufacturing environments/n- Familiarity with electrical standards and industrial safety practices/n/n/nWork Environment:/nThis position is located in an active industrial manufacturing and distribution center with moderate to high noise levels, temperature variations, and material handling equipment in operation. The role may require extended periods of standing or walking on concrete floors and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel-toed boots.
