Core service offerings include business valuations, complex financial instruments, contingent consideration, debt and equity, stock-based compensation, intangible assets for financial and tax reporting, tax compliance, mergers and acquisitions in domestic and cross border transactions, and litigation. In support of our strategic growth, we have an opportunity available for a Senior Manager to join our team, with hybrid flexibility in multiple offices throughout our footprint or possibly remote for the right resource. If the opportunity to make a meaningful impact serving as a trusted advisor to middle market clients within a supportive environment focused on leadership development excites you, let's talk!What your day(s) look like:Plan, organize, conduct, manage, and oversee projects and services in business valuation analysis, industry research, and related investigative servicesUnderstand and manage firm risk on projects and proposalsSupervise, train, and mentor more junior professionals on valuation of financial instruments and related services. Assess the performance of staff as part of engagement and year-end reviewsWork closely with audit teams and regulatorsWork closely with Partners and staff on client management, practice development, and business development processesParticipate in conducting presentations and seminarsWhat you bring to the role:Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related fieldValuation credential or demonstrated progress towards a valuation credential such as CFA, ABV or ASAMinimum 7 years of demonstrated progressive experience delivering valuation services in a public accounting and/or consulting environmentValuation of businesses, business interests, and intangible assets for ASC 350, ASC 360, ASC 718, and ASC 815; complex securities and embedded derivatives; estate and gift tax and charitable contributions; IRC 165, IRC 280, IRC 367, IRC 382, IRC 409A, and IRC 861Firsthand experience in running complex financial modelsStrong research and analytical skills; ability to solve complex valuation issuesTechnical skills a priority: Excel, financial modeling, model validation, model building and business writingExperience assisting audit teams with reviews of valuation for financial reportingAbility to effectively manage up, down and out, providing exceptional client service by leveraging communication skills to develop and maintain outstanding relationshipsStrong leadership, recruiting, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written (including technical writing), and presentation skillsAdditional preferred qualifications:Proficiency in US GAAP and/or IFRS preferredExperience managing multiple engagements and competing priorities in a dynamic and distributed team environmentDemonstrated proficiency in supporting/leading business development activitiesWhat you can expect from us:Our shared values that foster inclusion and belonging including uncompromising integrity, collaboration, trust, and mutual respectThe opportunity to innovate and do work that motivates and engages youA collaborative environment focused on enabling you to further your career growth and continuous professional developmentCompetitive compensation and a total rewards package that focuses on all aspects of your wellbeingFlexibility to do impactful work and the time to enjoy your life outside of workOpportunities to connect and learn from professionals from different backgrounds and with different culturesBenefits Information:Cherry Bekaert cares about our people. Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
