The Hemmat Law Group is seeking a bilingual Family Law Attorney to join our growing firm. No one is expected to figure it out alone, and you will never be judged for wanting context or clarity.If you thrive in an environment where your voice is valued, your ideas are welcomed, and you are supported by talented colleagues who genuinely want you to succeed, you will be a great fit here.Responsibilities and Core Job FunctionsLead case strategy and litigation planning, with a focus on complex and high stakes matters in King, Snohomish, and Pierce CountiesServe as primary counsel in hearings, motions, mediations, trials, depositions, and settlement negotiationsProvide advanced legal analysis and strategic recommendations to clients, including guidance on complex procedural and substantive issuesCommunicate effectively with English and Spanish speaking clients, ensuring clarity and trustManage and prioritize multiple deadlines while maintaining clear, professional communication with clients, courts, and all stakeholdersExercise independent judgment in nuanced or time sensitive situations and serve as a resource for resolving complex legal or strategic questionsMentor and support junior attorneys through case strategy discussions, substantive review, and skills developmentProvide direction to paralegals and support staff on case related tasks to ensure matters progress efficientlyMeet established productivity expectations, including billing a minimum of 6 hours per business dayHandle a substantial caseload with strong organizational discipline while navigating high volumes of workTake the lead on complex case assessments, settlement strategies, and long term litigation planningContribute to practice group improvements by identifying opportunities for more efficient workflows, standardized processes, or better client service practicesServe as a subject matter resource and contribute to team knowledge sharingRespond promptly and appropriately to urgent matters, providing leadership and clarity in fast moving situationsRequirementsActive Washington Bar license in good standingWe are open to a range of experience levels, including attorneys earlier in their careersExperience in family law or litigation is helpful but not requiredFluency in Spanish and English required, with the ability to advise and communicate directly with clients in both languagesExperience in Microsoft 365 platformsAbility to manage high volume work and competing deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsComfort making sound decisions in ambiguous situationsOrganized, detail oriented, and able to improve processesAble to work independently and collaborativelyExperience with the Clio practice management ecosystem preferredCompensationCompensation is dependent on experience, client ownership, and overall contributions.
