We pride ourselves on creating a center for relaxation and interaction, offering a curated experience that transitions seamlessly from premium coffee service to sophisticated evening hospitality.The Role We are seeking a versatile and charismatic Barista & Cocktail Specialist to join our Elmhurst team. This is a unique hybrid role designed for someone who is as passionate about the art of a perfect espresso pull as they are about the precision of a classic cocktail.You will be the face of Pour Destino during various dayparts, ensuring every guest receives an exceptional beverage tailored to the moment—whether it's a morning cortado or a signature evening drink.Key Responsibilities Coffee Excellence: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages with consistency, speed, and high-level latte art.Mixology: Craft high-quality cocktails, including Spanish-influenced drinks and classics, with an emphasis on presentation and flavor balance.Guest Experience: Provide warm, professional service; guide guests through our beverage menu and offer recommendations based on their preferences.Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar station (both coffee and spirits). Handle POS transactions accurately.Quality Control: Ensure all ingredients, from house-made syrups to garnishes, meet Pour Destino's high standards.Qualifications Experience: Previous experience as a barista in a specialty coffee environment and/or experience in craft cocktail preparation.Versatility: A strong desire to work across both coffee and bar programs.Knowledge: Familiarity with espresso equipment, manual brew methods, and standard mixology techniques.Hospitality Mindset: A proactive, \guest-first\ attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, social environment.Availability: Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.Certification: BASSET and Food Handler certifications (or willingness to obtain them prior to start).Why Join Us?
