Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)Location: Hampshire, IL – OnsiteDuration: 06 months with possible extensionSchedule: Monday – Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Overtime: 5–10 hours/week possible)Job Summary:Seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support equipment maintenance and repair in a manufacturing environment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot a variety of systems while ensuring safety and operational efficiency.Responsibilities:Perform preventive maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsTroubleshoot equipment issues and ensure timely resolutionOperate and maintain material handling equipment (forklift, scissor lift, pallet jack)Read and interpret maintenance manuals and technical proceduresManage and prioritize multiple work orders in a dynamic environmentFollow OSHA safety standards and environmental regulationsReport and escalate equipment repair status and timelinesRequired Skills:3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing settingStrong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsAbility to operate forklift and scissor liftExperience with preventive maintenance inspections and repairsBasic computer skillsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and proceduresModerate knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulationsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentHigh School Diploma or GEDMust provide own basic tools (major tools provided)Preferred Skills:Experience in food processing maintenanceFamiliarity with USDA, FDA, and SQF standardsKnowledge of lockout/tagout, confined space, hot work permits, and job hazard analysisBasic knowledge of PLC, VFD/VSD, and relay logicWelding and cutting experience (MIG, TIG, gas, electric)Formal training in equipment maintenance and electrical troubleshootingTools/Environment:Equipment: Forklift, scissor lift, pallet jackWork involves physical activity including lifting, standing, bending, and repetitive tool useFast-paced manufacturing environment requiring multitasking and prioritization
