Apply via Dice today!We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Solutions Architect to join a fast-paced team environment focused on modernizing statewide enterprise systems.Quick DetailsWork Arrangement: Fully Onsite (5 days/week)Location: Columbia, SC (Candidate must be a South Carolina resident)Interview Process: 1 Round, Virtual/OnlineShift: EST (with after-hours support as needed)Key Technical Skills RequiredTo be successful in this position, you must have 10+ years of experience in the following areas:Advanced ABAP Expertise: Solution architecting, software analysis, design, development, performance monitoring, and tuning.SAP Modules: Deep functional knowledge of the ECC 6.0 FI module and Treasury/Logistics.Public Sector Experience: Extensive background working with SAP functionality inside a Public Sector organization.Modern ABAP Tools: Object-Oriented programming (OOP), ABAP Unit, Shared Memory Objects, ABAP WebDynpro, BAPI/RFC, and the SAP Enhancement Framework.Upgrades & Maintenance: Practical experience with system upgrades, OSS notes, support packs, and troubleshooting.Preferred & Bonus SkillsS/4HANA implementation experience.Public sector SAP ABAP development for WRICEF in ECC 6.0, SRM, and BW.Experience with integration technologies (SAP PI, SAP CPI, Web Services, IDOC, RFC, SOAP/REST).Core ResponsibilitiesProvide technical development, functional analysis, and configuration for enterprise-wide software.Collaborate on test plans, unit test execution, and script development.Mentor less experienced team members on SAP programming concepts and tool suites.Assist with upgrades, support packs, and high-level implementation roadmaps.Requirements & ComplianceEducation: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.Background Checks: Must pass comprehensive background checks (Drug, Driving, Credit, Criminal, E-Verify, and SLED).References: Minimum of 2 professional references within the last 5 years.
