The ideal candidate has a passion for effective employee engagement, strategy implementation and team building. Minimum Requirements: - 3 years of Management experience - High School Diploma or equivalent - Valid health Insurance License within the first 30 days of employment - Valid driver's license, reliable transportation & proof of up-to-date auto insurance Preferred (Not Required): - Associate or bachelor's degree - Insurance Experience Job Duties: - Accomplish department objectives by managing staff - Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company plans and vision - Plan and evaluate department policies, processes, priorities, and performance goals - Develop and coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards - Assist in creating and oversight of a comprehensive training program, and onboarding of agents - Identify and evaluate trends and options, determines course of action and evaluates outcomes - Ensure that staff have the resources they need to complete their work in an optimal manner - Act as a liaison with senior level management and outside partners by developing productive, collaborative relationships and utilizing clear and effective communication Essential skills and abilities: - Has critical thinking skills - Can work independently, be proactive and have a positive outlook - Interpersonal skills and is a good collaborator Employer Notes: Ideally, we are looking for applicants with an Oregon and/or Washington Health Insurance License and have experience enrolling clients into the Federal Health Insurance Marketplace. We are an independent insurance agency offering Health, Medicare, Life, Home and Auto Insurance solutions. Wages, Hours and schedule: Salaried Position $55,000 - $63,000 per year Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Schedule will adjust due to seasonal requirements, and additional hours may be necessary. Travel required during work hours for training and events.
